Permanent Part Time Veterinary Surgeon Required:
We are looking for a veterinarian prepared to work 1 week day/week and every second Saturday morning.
The veterinarian will be responsible for sole charge on these days, and thus must be competent in dealing with the majority of cases in a general practitioner setting.
Essential:
- CMAVA - we are an AVA Accredited Veterinary Practice, and as such, all employed veterinarians must have a CMAVA (or qualify for one eg newish graduate).
- Enthusiasm, good work ethic, willingness to share knowledge, animal handling and client care skills.
- A veterinary science degree registrable in NSW.
The pay is negotiable, and is commensurate with the skills you can provide to the practice. Some experience is essential, but we will pay for quality of work, rather than how long you have been a vet for.

Positions for which we may have openings include:
RECEPTIONISTS
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT
Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work.
